Mulubinba Ski Lodge is in Perisher Valley, the largest ski resort in Australia.
Mulubinba is a self catering family lodge offering accommodation to club members and their guests. A large well equipped kitchen provides stoves, pots and pans, many kitchen appliances, cooking and eating utensils, microwaves, a large commercial refrigerator and a deep freeze and copious drawers for grocery storage.
The living rooms and dining room provide comfortable areas for members and guests to relax and discuss the days activities.
Mulubinba Lodge is administered by Shortland Apline Club, a non-profit co-operative based in Newcastle.
The aim of the Club is to encourage and promote winter and summer sports and other recreational activities.
In winter the lodge is filled with snow sports enthusiasts of all descriptions. Skiers, Snowboarders, Snow shoers and XC skiers, and those that just wish to sit around the lodge and relax.
During the summer several groups of members and guests can be found wandering around the mountains, taking in the scenery and looking at the wildflowers.
There are twenty four single beds in nine rooms. Five are two bed rooms and four are family rooms accommodating three, four or five people. There is a cot and a high chair available for small children. There are seperate bathrooms for men and women.
You will need to bring your own single sheets, pillow cases and towels. Sleeping bags are not permitted. Blankets and pillows are supplied. An information booklet and pantry list is available on request.
